Gender pay gap legislation requires an employer with 250 employees or more to publish their gender pay gap report for their employees. This information is based on annual salaries of our employees and is a snapshot of their pay on the reporting date, 20th March 2018.

    Gender pay gap legislation requires an employer with 250 employees or more to publish their gender pay gap report for their employees.  This information is based on annual salaries of our employees and is a snapshot of their pay on the reporting date,  20th March 2018.  On the reporting date we employed 206 women and 742 men on the payroll here at Ideal Standard UK Ltd.

    Gender pay gap as a mean average – 19.1%

    Gender pay gap as a median average – 23.4%

    Ideal Standard is a manufacturing environment, many of those employed in the production areas are men.  We are currently investigating a number of flexible working options that may encourage more women to apply for roles both in manufacturing and senior roles within the business.

    A talent management programme has also been introduced into the business with the express outcome of developing future senior leaders in the business, 50%  of the programme delegates were female.
